Like this Chocolate Christmas Tiramisu, a recipe that combines the creaminess of mascarpone with the intensity of dark chocolate and the warmth of Port wine.

INGREDIENTS

6 eggs
250 g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla paste
4 tbsp Port wine
500 g mascarpone cheese
200 g ladyfingers
300 ml strong hot coffee

For the chocolate ganache:
300 g dark chocolate
200 ml heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the ganache: Pour the cream into a saucepan and heat slowly over medium heat until it begins to boil. Add the chocolate and stir until melted and you get a thick, homogeneous mixture. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Combine: Carefully fold the egg white mixture into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

Serve: Dust with cocoa powder and decorate with chocolate shavings before serving.
